Sport Development Staff - Safeguarding for Healthy Participant Experiences

If you’re looking to learn more about influencing participants in your sporting club or association to have a positive experience, these sessions are for you. 

The Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport, in collaboration with Sport Integrity Australia, invites you to attend the "Safeguarding to facilitate healthy sporting experiences" workshop.

What will you learn?

• How you can foster safe environments for children and young people 

• How you can foster healthy relationships between coaches, parents and athletes 

• How you can foster healthy sporting experiences for children and young people 

This workshop is open to Pathways and Sport Development Staff connected to the daily training environments of Regional Academies, Talent Development Centres or State Sporting Association programs. This workshop will be available online for those residing in regional locations.

This workshop is part of a broader series to support safe environments for children and young people in sport.
