Intersection of Sports & Philanthropy in Diverse Communities (2-21-24)
Ploume Bar
new york, united states
Event description
The New York City chapter of Sports Philanthropy Network (SPN NYC), in celebration of Black History Month, invites you to join us for a provocative panel discussion and networking event on Wednesday, Feb. 21st, at Ploume Bar (38 West 26th St.; below The Ivory Peacock)
As we advocate for diversity, we are delighted to recognize three Black leaders that are doing fantastic work in their local community and on a global scale. Maya Monroe (International Sports Development), Boyd Melson (Boxer; Catalyzer of HOPE), and Eji Benson (Founder, Finisheractive) will share their expertise during a panel discussion, bookended by two networking sessions.
Moderated by respected business executive Tim Daniels, the evening is an opportunity to celebrate diversity, network and engage in meaningful conversations. Come out and join the NYC philanthropic community for a night of great purpose, food and fun.
NOTE: Tickets purchased at the door will be $69
