    Spotlight on ThincLab Founders

As part of START/UP week, join ThincLab's strategy expert Joel Abraham as he chats to two of our star founders, Belinda Humphris of mumamoo, and Murad Mekhitiev of Optomni about the highs and lows of the start-up journey.

Belinda Humphris is one of the co-founders of mumamoo, an Australian made, owned & manufactured infant formula company. mumamoo is a disrupter in an industry that has remained largely unchanged for generations, providing a premium Australian alternative, uniquely owned by Mothers. Mumamoo launched in 2021 and is now available in 700 stores nationally including Chemist Warehouse, Amazon and Woolworths.

Joel Abraham is ThincLab's Growth and Strategy Expert, and works closely with our high potential start-ups to propel their growth. Along with his brother, has successfully grown his family business, the Australian Institute of Business to become the largest MBA provider in Australia and one of the largest private higher education institutions in Australia, increasing revenues by more than 50X and employing over 275 full-time staff in Adelaide.

Murad Mekhtiev is an entrepreneur, solutions designer and agile business analyst with over a decade of experience across software and ICT, specialising in solutions encompassing data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence for the agriculture, horticulture, viticulture and wholesale sectors. Murad is passionate about bringing AI-powered solutions to the food supply chain to reduce food waste. As CEO and Co-founder of Optomni, Murad is dedicated to digitalising the horticultural supply chain with OmniOrder®, an omnichannel wholesale platform that helps fresh produce growers and wholesalers reach more buyers and reduce waste through demand prediction and automated supply matching.
