Meeting point: Meet your Education Ranger inside the Robertson Road Gates, Centennial Park. Please arrive early so that the tour can depart on time.

Getting there and parking: . If you are travelling by public transport, there is a bus stop nearby on Lang Road, or the Moore Park light rail stop and Anzac Parade bus stops are a short walk away. The Robertson Road Gates remain open for pedestrian traffic 24/7. Otherwise, if travelling by car, you are welcome to park inside Centennial Park (the Paddington Gates will remain open for attendees to drive out of the Park after the tour), or on the streets near the Robertson Road Gates.

Things to know before you attend

Please come prepared, as this program will go ahead in all-weather unless it is unsafe to do so (for example, during high winds or thunderstorms). Children must wear enclosed shoes.

This program is suitable for families with children aged from 5 years. All children must be supervised by an adult. All program attendees require a ticket. Spotlight Prowls are not suitable for large groups or birthday parties (a maximum of 10 tickets per person is permitted). Please contact education@gsp.nsw.gov.au to make a private booking.

We reserve the right to cancel the event in case of dangerous weather or if minimum participation numbers are not met. In these circumstances a refund will be offered. Please refer to our full terms and conditions for more information.

What to bring to the event

Ensure you are prepared for this session by bringing:

Enclosed and comfortable shoes
Warm clothing – it gets cold after dark!

A torch
Camera (no flash)
Waterproof clothing in case of wet conditions, as sessions run rain or shine
A sense of adventure

Your responsibilities if you feel unwell

I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that all attendees associated with this booking do not attend if:

We/I show any COVID-19, infectious disease or virus symptoms or feel unwell
We/I have had a fever, diarrhoea or vomiting within 12 hours or at the time of the program
We/I have been asked to self-isolate
We/I have had a positive COVID-19 test result and continue to have symptoms.

If any of the above apply to you or any attendee associated with this booking, we request that you do not attend this program. In this instance, please contact us via email on education@gsp.nsw.gov.au to arrange for a refund of your ticket.
