Spring Awakening

Spring Awakening is a poignant coming-of-age rock musical, featuring music by Duncan Sheik with lyrics and book by Steven Sater. Inspired by Frank Wedekind's 1891 play of the same name, the production is a captivating journey set against the late 19th-century backdrop of Germany. The charcters wrestle with the challenges of growing up, including sexuality, family violence, and societal oppression. The musical's folk-infused score with touches of alternative rock, amplifies the emotional journey as they navigate these themes.
