Spring Awakening: Dance Collective

After a long and wet Winter, we feel the shift of Spring Awakening through the birdsong & sunshine calling us out from our hibernation caves…

Trusting that each season serves its purpose and the medicine we need, we honour the seasonal wheel shifting towards the Spring Equinox and offer a space for you to gather together & shake off the remnants of Winter’s darkness to make space for what is.

COMMUNITY GATHERING & CO-CREATION:

Join us for a night in the Adelaide Hills to re-meet one another on the other side of Winter, to share stories and rekindle connection, as we celebrate the upcoming shift into Spring. As the Sun grows stronger, so do we as a community. We offer you a place to plant your seeds of intention that will continue to grow & bloom through Spring into Summer with a symbolic craft that will be added to our community “Garden Altar”. All materials supplied.

LIVE MUSIC:

We begin our musical journey with a live mini concert from earthspeaks – who will be sharing his latest songs with us.

Dylan Crawford is an Adelaide Hills based multi instrumentalist and songwriter. The focus of earthspeaks is to fully inhabit the moment and help channel the energy that is waiting to come through us. Emphasising the contrasts of subtle shifts in harmony, Dylan plays with a dynamic and emotional flow taking the audience on a unique journey with each performance.

New to Ecstatic dance? Here’s what you need to know..

“Ecstatic dance is a free-form, mindful movement practice where people dance freely to a live-curated DJ set or music journey without choreography, judgment, talking, shoes, or alcohol. It serves as a moving meditation to release stress, process emotions, and connect with oneself and others.”

This is a drug & alcohol free dance event! We also encourage you to switch your phone off/silent so you can fully immerse yourself in the dance experience.

Ticket’s available online:
Early Bird (Until September 1st): $40
General Admission: $45

What to bring:

For your own comfort during the concert, bring a mat / pillow to sit on. There will be some chairs, but positioned to the back so there's still room for sitting on the floor at the front and some dancefloor to moooove in :)
