Spring BEER Harvest
Event description
It's been an "all change" 2021 for yours truly so far, so a BEERtasters event feels like an important step towards getting the ship back on course. There's also a bunch of regular attendees who've been gently nudging me about getting the tastings up-and-running again, so this one is for you guys... Cheers!
SPRING BEER HARVEST
After one of the most unrelenting winters in many, many years, the first tastes of Spring warmth have been especially welcome in the past few weeks. Memories of visiting Sweden - also many years ago - and seeing people sitting in the park, shirts off, eyes closed, lifting their faces to enjoy the first sunshine in six months came flooding back. Their sun worship made more sense this year (even though it was only 15 that day), and it wasn't long before thoughts turned to the beers we'd be drinking once Spring starts doing its thing again...
Time for a "Spring BEER Harvest"! Expect seven beers that will enhance our shared journey through this season of rejuvenating warmth, occasional showers, and those inevitable chilly nights. The Dutch Trading Co kitchen will work its magic to create three courses of matching food; tastebuds will sing, conversation will flow - as will the selection of Lager, Sour, India Pale, Belgian and Stout brews we'll be "harvesting" on the night!
Please join us... Cheers folks.
