Description

Experience the calm of the paper-bark boardwalk, listen for frogs in the wetlands, watch out for flittering wrens, shy quendas, rowdy cockatoos and colourful wildflowers.

From sacred sites to pine plantations, a forgotten homestead and a drying wetland - discover the complex history of human impact at Piney Lakes Reserve and the actions being taken to encourage ongoing environmental preservation.

This event is led by Piney Lakes volunteers. Children must be accompanied by an adult (this is a long walk, please consider if your children will have the attention span for it).

In the case of inclement weather such as heavy rain, storms, or strong winds this event will be cancelled and you will be notified.

Due to the popularity of these walks, if you cannot make it please cancel your ticket so that others can attend.
