Professional baritone Philip Joughin joins with pianist Marian Bisset in a program of lieder and art music at the Swifts Creek Hall, Swifts Creek, in the beautiful high country of Victoria. This is a unique performance specially created for the residents of the Omeo Region and visitors.
The program is an hour long, and will be followed by afternoon tea, fresh from Swifts Creek bakery, just a few steps away from the Hall. This is included in the ticket price.
Featuring Mahler's Songs of the Wayfarer, Vaughan Williams's The Vagabond, George Butterworth's Shropshire Lad plus more.
The concert will be followed by afternoon tea (the cost is included in the ticket price) and a chance to meet the musicians informally for a chat. RSVPs are essential please.
Funds for The Spring Concert with Phillip Joughin and Marian Bisset have been made available by East Gippsland Shire Council (EGSC) from Emergency Recovery Victoria (ERV), and will be administered by the East Gippsland Community Foundation (EGCF).
