You'll receive and experience: 108 Sun Salutations, Gentle Yin yoga, movement and meditation practices and a relaxing live sound journey. And a nourishing vegetarian feast.

Schedule for the day:

* 10.00 – 11.15 108 Sun salutes 

* 11.15 - 1.45 light refreshments and little break

* 11.45 – 2.00 Yin Yoga + Sound meditation

* 2pm vegetarian feast 


108 Surya Namaskar (Sun salutations)

Spring is the seasons where new beginnings and productivity are welcomed. This marks the perfect timing for practicing 108 sun salutations having 12 yogic postures each synchronized with active inhalation and exhalation. Thus, it is known for the purification of blood and enhances ventilation in the lungs. Hence, it fulfils the purpose of refreshing and regenerating effects on the body as is practiced at that time which marks new beginnings. Completing this challenging task will fill your heart with gratitude and prove that you can do what you set out to do. This alone is the perfect example of why yogis practice 108 Sun Salutations at the change of the seasons, it put ourselves in the mindset that we can grow in this next season with strength and love.

    108 sun salutation is a dedicated practice that has a lot to offer internally and externally as:

    • It uplifts the energetic levels of the body
    • Develops the connectedness and grounding feelings within the practitioners
    • It aids in the detoxification process
    • Facilitates the flow of prana
    • Provides psychological and spiritual benefits
    • Pent-up emotions are released while practicing 108 sun salutations.

    Yin Yoga & Sound Meditation 

    Yin Yoga classes will be focusing on the digestive system and  gentle movement to support the process to reflect, detox, deep stretching, reflection, relaxation and emotional equilibrium.

    The Sound Meditation is a type of meditation that uses sound to help calm one’s body and mind and promote a sense of overall well-being. It uses focused awareness on the vibrations of sound to help people relax and meditate to promote self-inquiry and journey inwards through a soundscape of high vibrational sound bowls, Kalimbah, Koshi Chimes and guitar & voice.

    Vegetarian ayurvedic Feast 

    Ayurveda and Yoga have a symbiotic relationship, each helping the other to enhance its own benefits. Ayurveda is the science of healing and Yoga improves the organ function of the body and improves the internal environment of the body and mind.

    Meals will be deliciously prepared according to ayurvedic principles. The menu is designed to offer a taste of Southern India (Samosas, Idlies, varity of curries, spiced rice, cakes...) that also benefits the detox process.
