Spring Equinox Day Retreat

Embrace the arrival of spring on this wonderful day retreat at my home, in the hills of Tauranga. The equinox is the time of year when the sun is perfectly balanced in the sky, with equal amounts of daylight and darkness. It's energy signals not only bringing balance into your life but creating new beginnings, the rebirth of dormant energies and reawakening from our winter slumber as we are led into summer. Set amongst farmland near Oropi, we will begin by taking in the stunning rural views as we welcome in the spring sun energy with our feet gently standing on mother earth.  

Creation is what spring is all about and what better way than to try your hand at some mandala art. You are welcome to bring along your own object to decorate, or I will have stones available. The beautiful circular designs of the mandala represent the universe, oneness, personal growth and are a symbol of sacred geometry and I'm sure you'll have fun creating a stunning and unique design. There will also be time during the day for you to record your dreams or aspirations, enjoy wholesome food and yarns, experience a guided equinox meditation, indulge in a warming spa and take time to completely relax. This retreat focuses on reawakening your inner creative self, rejuvenating your energy and bringing a sense of excitement and hope to your whole body. Take a day out of your busy schedule to bring alive your inner power and immerse yourself in positive vibes.

Please note - the official spring equinox is September 23rd, however in order for people to easily attend, we bring our celebration forward to the 22nd, thank you for your understanding.
