Spring Equinox Yoga & Sound Journey
Event description
What Is Spring Equinox?
Join us amongst the rocks as we gather on the spring equinox for a transformative eve of flow, yin and sound, in the highly charged sanctuary of Crystal and stone.
Marking the transition from winter to spring, the spring equinox occurs at a time when day and night are of equal lengths, representing a time of renewal, new growth and rebirth.
As we emerge from the dark hibernation of winter, and step in to the rebirth and awakening of spring, we gather to celebrate the Earth returning to a place of perfect balance and renewed energy.
We invite you to set an intention for Spring Equinox , for how you wish to use this energy, to join us in reverence and community to honour this transitional time
What To Expect:
Your afternoon commences with an all levels vinyasa flow led by Tara. A strong but grounded creative sequence designed to bring you back to your body and to the present moment.
There will be a short break to indulge in a light plant based grazing supper with herbal tea. Following our break settle into comfort with a nourishing yin yoga and sound healing guided by Jess & Ally.
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga, incorporating principles of traditional Chinese medicine. Using the support of props you will explore various poses for extended periods of time, to allow connective tissue & fascia to extend and release. During your yin practice, let yourself sink into the sounds of crystal and Tibetan bowls, flutes, chimes and Ally's heavenly voice, as she creates frequencies and sounds to complement your yin shapes.
This event is suitable for all levels - no previous yoga experience required.
There also will be time dedicated to browsing the beautiful retail products for sale at Crystal & Stone should you wish to bring something special home.

Jess O'Brien is a warm and nurturing yoga teacher with a passion for all things yin. Having previously worked in the corporate world, Jess is familiar with the everyday stressors that can stem from the flow and flux of life. Showing genuine care, Jess creates a safe and welcoming environment for everybody; you'll leave your mat feeling balanced and calm.
Ally Solomou is a singer, self-taught channeler, meditation facilitator and sound healer. She uses a selection of crystal bowls, tibetan bowls, flutes, tongue drums, tuning forks and her ethereal voice to transport her listeners to another realm.
