Spring Fair - 3 on 3 Basketball Competitions (Senior & Junior)

The Internationally renowned SJC Spring Fair 3x3 Competition is back after a 2 year hiatus. 

How to Form a Team
- All Players must be current students at SJC
- Year 10 to 12 Students play in Senior Competition
- Year 7 to 9 Students play in Junior Competition
- 3 Players per Team
- Maximum. 1 x As/1sts/2nds Player per Team

Competition Rules
- Approx. 12 Mins per game. Running Clock
- 1 Pt for a shot inside the arc, 2 Pts for a shot outside the arc
- No substitutions
- Winner keeps the ball after scoring.
- Following a turnover ball must be carried past the top of 3 point arc (both feet over) before starting the offense again
- Max. 2 Personal Fouls. Penalty >3 Personal Foils = 2 Free Throws to opposition
- Max. 4 Team Fouls. Penalty >4 Team Fouls = 2 Free Throws to the opposition
- Head Start Rules ...
     - Teams consisting of all non-basketball players e.g. Cricketers/Rowers/Tennis Team will be given 2 point head start
     - Teams with no-As/1-2nd Players will be given 2 point head start

What to wear
- Suitable Shorts, Shoes & T-Shirt/Singlets (Bibs will be provided)
- Sun Screen
