Workshop: Spring Flower Macro Photography
Event description
Join award-winning photographer Ben Kopilow for a morning of flower photography at Lanyon Homestead. With either your DSLR camera or smartphone, learn key macro and close-up techniques using the stunning spring blooms as your subject. The workshop is held in the grounds of Lanyon with its 1850s homestead, convict-era outbuildings and beautiful gardens.
Ben will share tips and tricks on the creative process as well as be on hand for any technical assistance required. To complete the workshop, Ben will lead a helpful feedback session for participants who would like to share their images.
Part of ACT Historic Places' Bloom Festival.
Participants will need to bring:
- Camera or smartphone with a good camera
- Spare batteries and formatted memory cards
- Good waterproof hiking/walking shoes
- Notepad
- Water bottle
- Hat
- Tripods are optional
