THESE SPRING HOLIDAYS

COME OUT TO PLAY, HAVE FUN, WITH FRIENDS AND BE FREE...

Dear children

Yarrabilba now has it’s very own ‘Community Backyard’, named by the children FREEDOM FORTRESS. Meaning it is a place for children to meet up with friends, have fun, muck around, play games, construct, be creative and just play. Play is such an important part of childhood. It is how children test and learn new knowledge and skills, build identity, celebrate who they are now, make sense of the world, de-stress, build motivation and as well as stay healthy and fit. Yarrabilba State Secondary College has supported the Australian Institute of Play to create this great play opportunities for your children. The FREEDOM FORTRESS is about making more opportunities for your children to play with friends’ afterschool, in a safe space, with Grown-Up supervision.
