Lineup

Lillian Mcveity
Lillian McVeity is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from the Far South Coast of New South Wales, creating music that blends alternative rock and folk into an intimate yet expansive sound. Inspired by the quiet beauty and rugged coastline of her home, her songs combine atmospheric guitars, layered harmonies, and emotionally driven songwriting with a rawness that feels both grounded and cinematic. After the release of her debut single “Hearts in December” — featured on Triple J Unearthed and praised for its emotional depth and polished sound — Lillian has continued to develop her sound through live performance and collaboration. Writing songs since the age of 13, her music explores themes of longing, self-discovery, and growing up, balancing vulnerability with powerful, dynamic arrangements. Now performing with a full band, Lillian is currently recording a debut album set for release in November. The upcoming record leans further into alternative rock while holding onto the warmth and storytelling roots of folk music, capturing the energy and chemistry of the band alongside the intimacy of her songwriting. She has recently performed at Cobargo Folk Festival and Wanderer Festival, and has supported artists including The Rubens and Alex Lloyd.

Val Moogz
Val Moogz is a seasoned indie-pop and funky-folk songwriter and performer, winning over audiences with authentic storytelling and engaging live shows. Based on the NSW South Coast, they have built a reputation as a compelling regional artist and advocate for queer visibility, creating spaces for connection, joy, and representation through music. Val Moogz has supported major Australian artists including Ben Lee, The Whitlams, Alex Lloyd and Kingswood, and has appeared at festivals including Wanderer Festival and Cobargo Folk Festival. With multiple single releases over the past twelve months—including their latest release, "Rena", a heartfelt celebration of friendship and love—Val Moogz continues to grow a dedicated fanbase across the east coast. Driven by a mission to spread queer joy and foster connection in regional communities, Val Moogz brings warmth, humour, and sincerity to every performance. With new music and touring opportunities on the horizon, they continue to build meaningful connections with audiences wherever the road leads.

Ashen
Ashley Welsh-Jones has been a drummer on the South Coast for near a decade, playing with a range of beloved local musicians. Now she's trading the sticks for picks and is fronting her own group, Ashen! Alongside guitarist Sats Kramer, drummer Saul Nightingale and keyboardist Duncan Bond, she will be showcasing an original set of music that invokes the sounds of the 90's alternative scene.
