Talking Point Breakfast Series: Next Level Leadership
Description
As business models and organisations change, the nature of work itself is being reshaped. Leading and leadership face an acutely new and continuously evolving context. The implication: Leaders can no longer rely on past experience, unique knowledge or technical capabilities. Both the focus and methods required to develop future-ready leaders need to change.
In a reshaped world, the primary currency for leaders will increasingly depend on their capacity to create value through high-quality thinking, decision-making, and relational skills.
These attributes are dependent on the mastery of invisible but critical skills: perception, thinking, emotional and physiological regulation and decision-making. These skills will determine the impact leaders are capable of, yet existing talent and leadership development work rarely addresses them in a way that is accessible or practical, or in a way that promotes performance and wellbeing equally.
The performance and health of your organisation, and your leaders demands a new approach that equips leaders with these skills, so they can be at their best when it matters.
Over the past two years, Spring Point and David Reid (Focus Coaching) have been working together to examine and unpick this challenge, combining the insights, science and experience from two adjacent but connected fields of play. This Talking Point event will share critical features of that work to help you navigate this challenge and provide a unique perspective and pathway forward.
This is a must attend for business leaders and practice leaders in leadership development and OD.
