Spring into Fun these School Holidays with Filmbites School Holiday Workshops!

Make a Movie in 3 Days- Senior

Tuesday 30th, Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd of October, 10am - 3pm @ Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 13 - 18. Doors open each day at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm.

Learn the ins and outs of Filmmaking in this three day workshop. All participants are hands on in camera equipment, directing, acting and more! At the end of the three days participants will walk away with their own group film as well as the skills to plan and film a short film. 

Animation

Friday 3rd of October, 10am - 3pm @ Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 8 - 12. Doors open at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm. 

Learn the interface and navigation for Tahoma, a free software you can learn to use to create super fun animations. This is an exceptional skill to learn if you ever wish to work in the growing entertainment, content creation and resources industries.

Makeup SFX

Friday 3rd October, 11am - 1pm. Filmbites, 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 10 - 17. Doors open at 10:45am and close at 1:15pm.

Taught by industry professional Stephanie Davis, learn the technical skills of Makeup SFX through the fun of doing it!

Junior Screen Acting

Friday 3rd of October, 10am - 3pm @ Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 8 - 12. Doors open at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm. 

This workshop is an introduction to acting in front of the camera! If you want to learn the important differences between stage and screen acting through creating your own scene this workshop is for you. 

Make a Movie in 3 Days- Junior

Monday 6th, Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th of October, 10am - 3pm @ Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 8 - 12. Doors open each day at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm.

Game Design 

Friday 10th of October, 10am - 3pm @ Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 8 - 12. Doors open at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm. 

Why just play games when you can learn how to make them. In this workshop you’ll learn how to make 3 different types of games, using Gamemaker software, then get to play each others games. Super fun day for gamers!
