Explore the decorative and ornate possibilities of clay with ceramic artist Ebony Russell in this 3-part workshop series.

Channelling her signature style; icing-inspired piping, intricate layering and ornate, sculpted flourishes, Russell will guide participants through ornamental object decoration.

In this session participants will hand-build a small ring or treasure dish and embellish it with flowers, flourishes, scrolls, moulded elements and piped clay decoration.

Working with air-drying clay, you'll shape a delicate ornamental piece, perfect for a Christmas gift or to keep for yourself.

This series is presented alongside the exhibition Girly in Manly at Manly Art Gallery & Museum Fri 25 Sept – Sun 29 Nov.
