SPRING SERUM - A BALM FOR GROWTH
You've heard of serum for luscious eyelashes and hair...but what about serum for the spirit & soul?
Join Ruby and Anna for an evening of deep connection and renewal as we journey into the Wood Element, celebrated in Traditional Chinese Medicine as the essence of Spring.
Together, we will harness the upward and outward energy of Spring through an uplifting and deeply restorative 90 minute practice led by Ruby, accompanied by Anna playing live Vibraphone.
10% of all profits will be donated to Palestine Children's Relief Fund.
What’s included:
6pm-7:30pm (90 mins)
- Deep dive into the Wood Element where we will learn about meridian theory, the significance of the Wood Element & where to map meridian pathways on our bodies.
- Yin Yoga & Acupressure practice accompanied by live Vibraphone.
- Practices to take with you!
7:30pm-8:30pm
- ‘Relation-chips’!! Aka community conversations (including some fun Spring themed prompts), nibbles & your fav non-alc refreshments! — think of this as your digestion of the practice…whilst consuming some other yummy treats & contemplations to digest later ;)
About Ruby:
Ruby has always felt deeply inspired by and connected to nature. She first discovered Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine (‘TCM’) in 2018 and it has been a balm for her growth ever since. It was through these practices that Ruby was able to better understand how nature (and particularly the seasons) holds a mirror up to what is reflected in humankind.
Ruby consistently invites students to connect with the richness of their own lived experiences through movement, pranayama, philosophy and self-inquiry. She believes that the beauty of Yoga is that it nurtures and supports every version and variation of who we are — so she welcomes moving with an openness to work with however we are showing up on our mat.
Ruby’s classes are a full body celebration where every body and ability is invited.
All classes focus heavily on the breath and introspection, encouraging students too detach from aesthetics, and instead anchor themselves inward toward a sensory experience.
