Join us these school holidays for a day of play, adventure and wildcrafting!Â
A drop and leave program for children aged 7-13 years. This event is on 27 September. We are also offering a program on 19 September, book for that one at this link.
Send your wild ones along for a day of outdoor connection in the wild urban bushland of Darebin Parklands with experienced nature connection mentors. Together, we will tune into the wild world around us, exploring through our senses and letting curiosity and play be our guides. We will play games and engage in activities that open our awareness to the natural world and activate our bodies and minds.
Activities could include:
- Games, games, games!
- Shelter building
- Nature awareness practices
- Bird language
- Fire making and tending
- Bush cooking
- Handcrafts
- Plant and animal identification
- Nature journaling
- Tracking
- Storytelling
- And more!
Your nature connection mentors:
Katrina, Claire and Yonke have been exploring, learning and guiding folks in the bush for a number of years. They are bird, plant, fungi and animal lovers and curious about all things wild. They are passionate about sharing the gifts of nature connection and bushcraft skills with a spirit of play and adventure.
