Springfield - Play The Adaptation Game Ipswich

A cyclone has been forecast to impact Ipswich. You have 32 hours to get yourself prepared. What do you do?

The Adaptation Game Ipswich is a board game that has been localised to Ipswich, using storytelling and shared experiences to help people explore how they can be resilient for disasters just like this. Will you join us to officially launch this new resource and be a part of the first play through?

What is The Adaptation Game Ipswich?

This resource has been developed to improve community recovery and resilience building following the impacts of TC Alfred in March 2025 to encourage conversation, reflection, learning, and most importantly adaptation. TAG helps participants consider the challenges disasters can bring while highlighting the important role individuals, families, community groups, and local organisations play in supporting one another before, during, and after an event.
