SPY v SPY shot to fame in the 1980’s for tackling political issues through their music, including racism, homelessness & drugs with landmark recordings Meet Us Inside, Harry's Reasons, AO Mod TV Vers., Xenophobia [Why?] and Trash the Planet. Their Platinum Albums gave Aussie's anthems of a generation, cementing themselves as Oz rock’s working class heroes.
A formidable live act - the band opened for Midnight Oil, INXS, Split Enz, Men At Work as well as U2, David Bowie, Simple Minds and The Clash.
