We proudly present to you this years MasQUEERade Ball for people aged 14-25 yrs old!

This event is proudly hosted by SSAYIT & Headspace and is the only LGBTQIA+ formal for young people that is held between Brisbane & Cape York.

Food, non alcoholic drinks & entertainment is included in your ticket.

This years Masqueerade theme is Multiverse .... Everyone & all we welcome to our multiversal masqueerade where people, creatures and deities attend across the cosmos. Come as characters or creatures from your favourite books, shows or any and all media; or you are welcome simply as just yourself!

YETI established SSAY-IT in 2008 to support young people (aged 14 – 25 years) of diverse bodies, sexuality and gender.

The group seeks to provide a safe and supportive, peer-led space for young people to explore their gender and sexuality. Diverse bodies, gender and sexuality may include but is definitely not limited to – Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Pansexual, Gender Fluid, Trans, Intersex, Queer, BrotherBois, SistaGirls, and people who are Questioning.

The group is confidential and discreet and offers a range of fun, social activities and outings to help meet and network with other diverse young people. Through the group there are also opportunities for one-on-one counselling and advocacy support, participating in relevant workshops, and getting information and advice about sex, sexuality or gender issues, relationships, and legal issues.
