SSI’s Bridge to Belonging is a free program for d/Deaf and hard of hearing young people aged 17–29, combining peer support, leadership skills, and lived‑experience insights.
The program supports participants to build confidence, connection, and leadership skills through peer support and shared learning. The program aims to strengthen leadership and self‑advocacy skills, improve wellbeing, explore employment pathways, and support the development of meaningful peer networks in a safe and supportive environment.
Through a mix of interactive workshops, peer‑led sessions and shared learning experiences, young people will grow their voice, confidence, and sense of belonging. Bridge To Belonging recognises the strengths, knowledge, and resilience of young people and creates pathways to inclusion, leadership, and opportunity.
Whether you’re looking to grow personally, support others, or explore future pathways in peer support or advocacy, this program offers the tools, connections, and encouragement to help you thrive and feel a strong sense of belonging.

Please note: Attendance at all workshop sessions is mandatory to receive a Program Completion Certificate.
