In respecting cultural protocol and traditions that have been practised for millennia, a Welcome to Country and a Cultural Smoking Ceremony to cleanse and create a positive environment will be conducted at the start of the day. This is a gift from First Nations peoples, try and be there early for this important custom.
Included in your ticket price is a sausage sandwich and a refreshing drink. There will be arts and crafts, games, music and lots of conversation. This is a place where First Nations and Non-First Nations people can enjoy the environment whilst asking questions and talking openly about the upcoming Voice to Parliament referendum.
Film Presentation from 6.30
You are invited to a special screening of COME WALK WITH US produced by
the Maritime Union of Australia, about the journey of MUA member and seafarer, Vicki Morta and her quest to become
an advocate for the Voice to Parliament.

The film follows Vicki on her personal journey to her home in Far North Queensland to hear stories about her peoples'
history from her Elders to the national stage where she has become a prominent champion for the 'Yes'
campaign.
