St Aloysius’ College Parents and Friends Association 2023 Commencement Party Terms and Conditions

The St Aloysius College Parents and Friends Association (“P&F”) has a responsibility to organize and host College and year group events that it would usually host through the school year of St Aloysius’ College. For 2023 the P&F commencement party will be hosted at Luna Park Sydney.

The P&F is a not-for-profit volunteer group which disburses any surplus funds generated through the P&F’s activities back to the College to support the College’s operational needs. From time to time some of events organized by the P&F may need to be postponed or cancelled. It is therefore necessary to have clear conditions and guidelines for P&F events. By purchasing a ticket to this P&F event you are acknowledging, confirming and accepting the below conditions and guidelines for the event.

Acknowledgements, confirmation and acceptance

By attending this event you are acknowledging, accepting and confirming the following:

1. This event will be held in accordance with any current NSW Health Covid-19 Public Health Orders, in accordance with the College’s policies and procedures and in accordance with Venue Guidelines of Luna Park Sydney (LPS), WHS procedures and all reasonable written or verbal directions given at any time to the P&F and/or a staff member of St Aloysius’ College by LPS, its duty manager or its authorized representative.

2. You acknowledge and accept there is a risk you may be exposed to COVID-19 whilst attending and participating in this event and you are purchasing a ticket and attending the event following your own consideration of the risks associated with attending this event.

3. You acknowledge and accept that there is a risk of this event being cancelled with very little notice for unforeseen reasons (which could include but not be limited to Public Health Orders and/or direction from the Principal or board of St Aloysius’ College). There is therefore a risk that you will not receive a refund of all or some of the amount paid for your ticket/s due to expenses already outlaid for the event.

Admission

1. Admission to the event is by ticket in the name of the person seeking entry to the event.

2. Donations to the P&F through the ticketing portal to the event does not gain admission to the event.

3. Printed Tickets or QR code for the tickets must be presented at the door to gain admission to the event. Guests will be provided with a name tag to be kept on at all times. Guests without a valid ticket or whose names do not appear on the list of tickets sold will not be granted admission.

4. The Executive Committee of the P&F (“the Executive Committee”) and/or the Principal and/or the duty manager or authorized representative of LPS reserves the right to refuse admission at its/his/their discretion.

5. Guests must comply with the Venue Guidelines of Luna Park Sydney Pty Limited, WHS procedures and all reasonable written or verbal directions give at any time to the P&F by LPS, its Duty Manager or authorized representative.

Cancellation and refund terms and conditions

St Aloysius’ College has entered into a contract with LPS which require guaranteed numbers to be provided in advance of the event. Due to the requirements of LPS the following cancellation and refund terms will apply.

1. No refunds will be provided for cancellations where the holder of a ticket to the event cancels within 7 days prior to the event.

2. Transfers of tickets within 7 days of the event will be at the discretion of the President of the P&F or his/her nominee.

3. If the event is required to be cancelled due to NSW Public Health Orders or for any other reasons refunds will be provided proportionate to the refund received from LPS.
