Please ensure you have a general admission (or Year 12 pre-release) ticket to this event. Raffle tickets are NOT a dinner ticket. In order to attend this event, one must have a valid dinner ticket as there are capacity constraints. Double check your order to avoid disappointment.

Entry to this event is via Jeffrey Street. Dress is smart casual.

A reminder that St Aloysius' College is a non-smoking venue; smoking needs to occur off the school grounds.

St Aloysius’ College Parents and Friends Association: Mother’s Day Dinner Terms and Conditions

The St Aloysius’ College Parents and Friends Association (“P&F”) has a responsibility to organize and host all College and Year Group events that it would usually host, support and endorse throughout the school year at St Aloysius’ College (“the College”).

The P&F is a not-for-profit volunteer group which disburses any surplus funds generated through the P & F’s activities back to the College to support the College’s operational needs. From time-to-time, some of these events may need to be postponed or cancelled. It is therefore necessary to have clear conditions and guidelines for P&F events. By purchasing a ticket to this P&F event, and attending the event you are acknowledging, confirming and accepting the below conditions and guidelines for the event.

Acknowledgements, confirmation and acceptance

By attending this event you are acknowledging, accepting and confirming the following:

1. This event will be held in accordance with any current NSW Health COVID-19 Public Health Orders and in accordance with the College’s policies and procedures.

2. You acknowledge and accept there is a risk you may be exposed to COVID-19 whilst attending and participating in this event and you are purchasing a ticket and attending the event following your own consideration of the risks associated with attending this event.

3. You acknowledge and accept there is a risk of this event being cancelled, with very little notice, for unforeseen reasons (which could include but not be limited to Public Health Orders and/or direction from the Principal or Board of St Aloysius’ College). There is therefore a risk that you will not receive a refund of the amount paid for your ticket/s due to expenses already outlayed for the event.

4. Guests are strongly recommended to take a Rapid Antigen Home Test (“RAHT”) on the day of the event and return a negative result before attendance to the event.

5. You confirm you will not attend this event if you are displaying symptoms of any illness, have returned a positive RAHT and/or PCR test for COVID-19 within 7 days of the event, and/or are directed or required to isolate under Public Health Orders and you acknowledge that the cancellation, transfer and refund terms and conditions apply in that regard.

Admission

1. Tickets are allocated on a first come-first served basis with a limit of ONE (1) ticket per person.

2. Admission to this event is for mother’s/guardians of students currently enrolled at the College. Tickets must be presented at the door, and guests will be provided with a name tag to be kept on at all times. Guests without a valid ticket or whose names do not appear on the list of tickets sold will not be granted admission.

3. The Executive Committee of the P&F (“the Executive Committee”) and/or the Principal reserves the right to cancel any tickets which have been purchased in breach of any of these terms and conditions.

4. The Executive Committee and /or the Principal reserves the right to refuse admission at its/his discretion.

5. The Executive Committee reserves the right to eject guests who display unacceptable behaviour such as:

(a) Being under the excessive influence of alcohol or other substances;

(b) Causing offence to other guests, limiting their enjoyment of the event;

(c) Causing damage to College property (or property where the event is being held) or the property of other guests; or

(d) Being found within an area of the school building other than where the event is being hosted or areas required to access the area where the event is being hosted.

6. The Executive Committee reserves the right to ask guests who display symptoms of COVID-19 to leave the event. If you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of Covid-19 please stay at home.

Refund, cancellation and waitlist terms and conditions

Due to COVID-19 there is a risk that due to unforeseen reasons this event could be cancelled at short notice. The caterers for the event require that the P&F guarantee event numbers eight (8) business days prior to the event. Due to these requirements the following cancellation, transfer and refund terms will apply.

1. No refunds will be provided for cancellations where the holder of a ticket to the event cancels the ticket within eight (8) business days of the event.

2. If the event is required to be cancelled due to Public Health Orders and/or direction from the Principal or Board of St Aloysius’ College within eight (8) business days of the event, no refunds will be provided.

3. Due to the size of the venue there is a set allocation of tickets that can be sold (“the allocation”). Once the allocation is reached a waitlist will be created in Humanitix for those who wish to join the waitlist. The waitlist through Humanitix operates as follows:

(a) When a ticket becomes available, the first waitlisted guest will be notified via email with a link to purchase tickets.

(b) Every 30 minutes, the next guest in line will be notified if tickets are still available.

(c) Once every waitlisted guest has been notified, available tickets will be reopened to the public. Waitlisted guests will need to purchase tickets while they are available as their tickets will not be held.

The Executive Committee will not be entering into direct correspondence with waitlisted guests regarding the allocation of tickets and/or the waitlist as the allocation and waitlist will be managed by the Humanitix system.
