The St Andrew's Society Melbourne is thrilled to extend an exclusive invitation to our Inaugural "Burns in July" event. Prepare to indulge in a remarkable evening, blending the essence of the Burns Supper tradition with a unique Melbourne touch. Renowned Scottish Chef Raymond Capaldi will craft a delectable three-course dinner, featuring his signature creations alongside a traditional Scottish Haggis.

As we gather for this special occasion, we proudly support the MyName'5doddie Foundation as our chosen charity partner for the evening. Established to raise awareness and provide support in honour of the late Doddie Weir OBE, one of Scottish Rugby's most iconic figures, the foundation carries forth his legacy. Doddie's remarkable career includes 61 caps for Scotland and representing the British and Irish Lions during their triumphant tour of South Africa in 1997. Sadly, Doddie succumbed to MND on November 26th, 2022, at the age of 52.

In alignment with Doddie's vision, we aim to raise global awareness, particularly here in Melbourne. An exciting charity auction awaits, offering extraordinary and unique prizes, with all proceeds benefiting the MyName'5doddie Foundation.

No Burns night would be complete without captivating entertainment. We are delighted to welcome The Scots Man, all the way from Glasgow, to serenade us with timeless Rabbie Burns classics and contemporary tunes, ensuring an enchanting night that will extend into the wee hours. The ticket includes a drinks package from 7-11 pm, with bar service available thereafter.
