St Chads Annual Exhibition 2025

“Celebrate creativity with the St Chads artists at The Arts Village — everyone’s welcome!

St Chads Charitable Trust is a vocational service guided by the Enabling Good Lives vision, providing resources, experiences, and opportunities for positive communication and relationship-building. Through their programmes, they connect tāngata whaikaha—“people who are determined to do well” or “people who are enabled”—with the wider Rotorua community.

Each year, St Chads hosts an art exhibition at The Arts Village, showcasing the creativity, stamina, and diverse perspectives of their artists, many of whom live with various challenges.

This year’s exhibition draws inspiration from Hans Hofmann, Picasso, and tangram designs. The concept encourages participants to reimagine their usual creations while developing new skills in painting, canvas work, cutting, and design. By sharing these skills, artists strengthen their creative voices and foster greater community engagement.
