We all need a bit of a laugh!

On Thursday, 29th October we will be treated to an evening of connection and full belly laughs, to raise funds for the final stages of our Science Lab development – which is nearing completion.

Award-winning comedian, Harriet Moir will MC the night, bringing to us local comedy acts Nicola Brown, Kelly Hocking and Reuben Crisp who are sure to split our sides!

As part of our fundraising there will be a live auction and raffles to purchase on the night.

A cash bar will be running throughout the evening, serving a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Ticket price includes food and entertainment.

About Harriet:

Based in Dunedin, Harriet is a comedian, actor, writer, celebrant, MC, producer and entertainer. Mercifully not all at the same time.

She is well known to Dunedin audiences having played lead roles in many productions for Musical Theatre Dunedin, Taieri Musical, Birds of a Feather and Hic Sunt Dracones and she won the 2025 Dunedin Theatre Awards Outstanding Performance in a Female Lead Role.

She has four award winning solo comedy shows under her belt and she has opened for some of New Zealand’s biggest names in comedy. Harriet was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2026 NZ International Comedy Festival and has been shortlisted for the prestigious Billy T Award in 2027. She also took home the award for Best MC - South Island at the 2026 New Zealand Wedding Vendor Awards.
