Treading the Boards | St Hilda's Drama Performance Evening
Treading The Boards | St Hilda's Drama Performance Night
The St Hilda's Drama Department warmly invites you to an evening of outstanding theatre at our annual Treading the Boards Drama Performance Evening.
Join us as our talented Middle and Senior School students take to the stage in two engaging productions that showcase their creativity, dedication and passion for the performing arts.
Years 7–9 will present Playing from the Heart by Charles Way
Inspired by the remarkable true story of renowned percussionist Evelyn Glennie, this moving play celebrates resilience, determination and the power of music. Despite becoming profoundly deaf at a young age, Evelyn went on to achieve international acclaim as a world-famous musician.
Years 10–12 will present The Popular Mechanicals by Keith Robinson, Tony Taylor and William Shakespeare
A hilarious and fast-paced parody inspired by the "Mechanicals" from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, this production offers plenty of laughs while showcasing the wit and versatility of our senior performers.
