Event description

St John Event - Wednesday October 12, 2022

St John is delighted to invite the West Australian business community to come together and help us build a stronger and more resilient WA.

As you read this today, three people in Western Australia will suffer a cardiac arrest.

And it will continue to happen every day.
In fact, only one in nine people who suffer a cardiac arrest will survive.
Every minute without intervention, decreases a victim’s chance of survival by 10%.

But together we can effect change and save lives

When a defibrillator is used before paramedics arrive, survival can reach as high as 70%.

We simply need more of these life-saving devices in the community.
Please join our mission to save lives across WA, together.

Join us on Wednesday, October 12 to hear the inspiring survival story of Mark Donovan from Mineral Resources.
For Mark, bystanders who were prepared to act and a nearby defibrillator saved his life.
But not everyone is this lucky.

We are working towards increasing the awareness of these life-saving devices and we would love you to be a part of this evening.

The evening will also present you the opportunity to partner with us to provide life-saving tools across WA.

Thank you to our generous sponsors Mineral Resources for making this evening possible, and to Calneggia Family Vineyards for providing the beverages. We are grateful for their generous support and commitment to helping save lives across Western Australia.

RSVP Friday, 7 October with any dietary requirements.

We look forward to seeing you on the night!
