Driving Success in Scotland’s Hospitality & Accommodation Sector
Date: Tuesday, 16 September 2025
Time: 10:45 – 12:15 CEST
Location: Online (link via Teams will follow)

Why attend?
This session is tailored for hoteliers across the spectrum—from luxury to boutique and budget venues, including hostels. It promises a wealth of practical, accessible insights on navigating the current industry landscape. We’ll explore topics such as:

Tackling workforce shortages
Boosting operational performance with the latest tools and strategies
Making the most of technology in hotel operations

The Scottish hospitality industry has shown strong resilience in H1 2025, particularly in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Inverness, with rising international investment and a promising development pipeline. However, emerging challenges like upcoming accommodation levies—starting in Edinburgh in July 2026 and later in Glasgow and Aberdeen—alongside higher operating costs and staffing pressures, mean adaptive strategies are more crucial than ever.

Featured Speakers:

Robert Holland, Managing Director UK & Ireland, HotelPartner Revenue Management
David Orr, CEO, Resident Hotels — renowned for launching City Inn (now Mint) and creating one of Europe’s most successful hotel brands
Andrew Renouf, Director, AR Hospitality Consulting
Neil Farren, Director of Customer Success, HotStats
