Do you love being creative? Experimenting with makeup, colour and design?
This is the workshop FOR YOU!
Over three action packed days, you will learn techniques and skills in bringing to life makeup designs for stage and theatre - drawing inspiration from Avant Garde, World of Wearable Arts, Cirque du Soleil, Met Gala and more!
Guided by your tutor Laura Hewetson (Arts Facilitator @ SMC / Creative Makeup Team Leader WOW / Artist at Weta Workshop), you will have a blast with this hands-on practical workshop.
DAY ONE - Get halloween ready! learn how to make FX wounds, bruises, burns and more, using latex and special FX products. Create a zombie look that will make all your friends run away!
DAY TWO - Explore techniques in colour design, texture, stencils and line work. Dabble with prosthetic appliances, brow blocking techniques and more effects to create colourful and eye catching designs.
DAY THREE - YOUR DESIGN! Take all the skills you have learned to create your very own masterpiece! Wigs and costuming available to a final look that will be photographed. Note, participants may bring a friend to be their model for this session.
$200 per person for 3 days
