Stand-Up Comedy 401: Creative Comedy Lab — Drop-In Session

$45 per session | Tuesdays, 6-9PM | Beginning 10/20 thru 11/10 | Seats very limited. Online Registration Required.

One night. New experiments. Fresh possibilities for your comedy.

Looking to shake up your stand-up, explore your comedic persona, or discover something unexpected in your material? Drop into Stand-Up Comedy 401 for an evening of creative experimentation!

Led by instructor Christie, each session is a playful, hands-on comedy laboratory where you'll explore new ways to perform your jokes, experiment with your stage presence, and discover what makes your comedic voice uniquely yours.

Unlike traditional stand-up classes that follow a step-by-step curriculum, each 401 session offers its own creative exploration. Christie brings fresh exercises, unexpected challenges, and imaginative approaches that encourage you to step outside your usual habits and try something new.

What to Expect

• Creative experiments: Explore playful exercises and performance challenges designed to stretch your comedic instincts.

• Persona exploration: Try different approaches to delivery, character, physicality, and stage presence.

• Work with your material: Bring jokes, ideas, or material you're developing and discover new ways to bring them to life.

• A supportive creative environment: Experiment alongside other comedians, take creative risks, and learn through exploration.

• Something different each week: Every session offers its own set of discoveries, making it worthwhile to attend once or return for multiple sessions.

Can I Really Drop In for Just One Session?

Absolutely! While 401 is also offered as a six-week course, its creative, exploratory format makes individual sessions accessible without attending previous weeks.

Each class is designed around exercises that allow participants to work on their own material and artistic development. You can jump in, participate fully, and leave with new ideas to explore in your comedy.

Who Can Attend?

Anyone who has completed Stand-Up Comedy 101 or equivalent foundational training approved by the instructor. You do not need to have completed 201 or 301.
