In this week’s Budget the government has stripped away $12.8 billion that was supposed to go towards pay equity settlements for underpaid female workers doing some of the most important work in our society.

This is an outrage and it is time for all of us to stand together with our ECE teachers, Hospice workers, Plunket nurses, Care & Support workers, and many others whose rights have been walked over.
