Standard Mental Health First Aid Course

The 12-hour Standard Mental Health First Aid course teaches adults (18 years and over) how to provide initial support to adults who are developing a mental illness or experiencing a mental health crisis. The course runs from 9:00am - 3:30pm on both days. Trainers from 20talk, a registered Australian mental health charity, facilitate this 2-day course in an energetic and engaging way. By focussing on conversation, lived experience and knowledge sharing - this course aims to arm participants with the essential tools to recognise, handle and navigate difficult conversations around mental health and wellbeing.
