Standard Mental Health First Aid Training

This 2-day Standard Mental Health First Aid courses teaches participants the skills to recognize the early warning signs of a range of Mental Health issues including Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Psychosis, Suicidal Ideation and Substance Use Disorder. The course also covers how to start a conversation around mental illness and how to connect them to professional help. 

On completion of this course, participants will get the opportunity to complete an online assessment to become a Workplace Mental Health First Aider for 3 years.

This course is for anyone but especially for someone who works or lives around people including customer facing roles such as customer service, community services, education and training, FIFO and Hospitality.
