Synopsis

In this one-woman show, a young visionary dedicates herself to serving her fellow man and joins a loving community called the Peoples Temple-a church movement that promises love, equality, and social change. Under the charismatic leadership of Jim Jones, they aim to change the world- & do so in ways that no one before 1978 could fully comprehend. Christina Yancy’s play invites the audience to ponder a powerful question: If one individual stands up and takes action in the face of adversity, can they ignite a ripple of transformation that reshapes the course of history, and what are the consequences if they don't?
