Sun, 6 Dec, 1pm - 3pm NZDT

Do you want to learn or improve your handstands?

Handstands and getting upside down are good for our upper body, core strength, confidence, resilience and overall body knowledge.

This workshop is an opportunity to learn the steps towards stable handstands within a safe environment.  This workshop is designed for folks who have interest in and maybe some experience with handstands who are keen to learn the alignment and ways to practice building up to holding them. What a better way to welcome summer than with a new trick to practice on the lawn!

Workshop will cover:
- falling safely

- exercises to warm up and build upper body, forearm, hand strength

- the biomechanics and alignment of hand balancing

- safe ways to practice handstands at your level

- hands-on assistance

- personal feedback and tips
