Standing Strong Juniors is a wellness program that runs for 1 hour after school each Tuesday. Its a place where young people have fun while also developing life skills and emotional intelligence to deal with day to day challenges. 🌈

Each session runs for one hour and is made up of the three Standing Strong components:

💟STRONG Bodies - Fun Movement
😌STRONG Minds - Mindset / Group discussions /activities
💟STRONG Hearts - Mindfulness / partner yoga / craft

Our term program is customised to each age group and covers a range of themes relevant to the girls. We have over forty different topics which may include:

💙 Kindness
💙 Lying
💙 Values
💙 Overcoming Challenges
💙 Difference on the outside
💙 Forgiveness
💙 Express yourself

If you have been worried about your daughter, or simply think she would benefit from interacting with peers in a nurturing space where the focus is on self awareness, creativity, building connection and belonging, then you will love our program.

The program aims to increase emotional literacy through our non-clinical, evidence based approach in a fun and creative manner.

Sessions are facilitated by Nerine who is a qualified Youth Worker, Naturopath and Kinesiologist. Amelia is the Youth Mentor who is currently studying psychotherapy and has a diploma in visual arts.

Please note:

*To develop a group that feels safe with each other, enrolments are for the full term and late applicants cease after 4 weeks. Price will be adjusted weekly for the remaining weeks of term.
*Parent Supervision not needed during the hour.
*If you are unable to attend a session at Mosman Park, we have another Standing Strong Club located in Subiaco where you can attend a ‘make-up’ session.
