    Event description

    *This is a RAIN or SHINE event - Due to the possibility of inclement weather in the forecast, we have secured a large covered tent for our patrons attending Sunday's rally! We cannot predict exactly how many people will be in attendance, so please prepare for the weather accordingly and arrive early for the best spot & position.

    Join us for our 'Stand Up for Israel, Jewish Students & Against Antisemitism Rally' THIS SUNDAY @ 2:00PM at Salado Park! It's time to stand up, speak the truth, make our voices heard, and let Jewish students and Jews across the country, in Israel and around the World know that they are not alone! This rally is very timely and has increased significance as May 5th is also the beginning of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day). 

    DATE & TIME: Sunday, May 5th @ 2:00PM. (Delicious Kosher Food, Drinks & Refreshments Available Starting @ 1:30PM) *Please give yourself enough time to park and walk over to our rally site at Salado Park. 

    LOCATION: Salado Park - 16401 Salado Dr, Dallas, TX 75248 (park/parking map below) (see map below

    WHAT TO BRING: Israel & US Flags, Pro-Jewish/Pro-Israel/Pro-America Signs, Banners, Gear, and Spirit! You may also want to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and an insulated water bottle. 

    WHAT YOU MAY NOT BRING:
    Anti-Israel/Anti-Jewish Signs, Clothing, Flags or Propaganda. No Fireworks or Loud Noise Makers. Please do your best to not bring glass bottles or other containers onto the premises. 

    ATTIRE: Casual

    PARKING: Guests may park around Salado Park, Bowie Elementary School, and on both sides of La Manga Drive, Salado Drive, Carta Valley Drive and surrounding streets. Once parked, patrons should make their way to the middle of Salado Park which is where we will gather for our rally together. (See map below)

    FOOD & DRINK:
    We will have complimentary bottled water available (while supplies last). Soft drinks, refreshments and delicious food will be available for purchase courtesy of Palate Catering starting at 1:30PM. Participants may also bring their own water bottles and snacks for the rally if they would like. *We kindly ask that you do not leave trash behind at the park or along the parks trails.     MUSIC:
    Former IDF Commander and Singer/Guitarist Pdaya Halperin along with more Israeli music will get us ready for a lively and impactful rally!

    OUR SECURITY:
    We will have both uniformed and plainclothes officers present courtesy of the Dallas Police Department, Texas Protective Security and Paradin Security Solutions
    . It is recommended that you not bring large bags or backpacks if possible. 

    EVENT SCHEDULE:
    1:30PM -- Kosher Food, Refreshments & Cold Drinks will be available for purchase courtesy of Palate Catering throughout the rally. *Complimentary water bottles will be available (while supplies last)

    2:00PM - 2:30PM -- Participants begin to gather at Salado Park. Live Music from Pdaya Halperin. Israel National Anthem and Opening Prayers. 

    2:30PM - 3:45PM -- Opening remarks and thank you's from our event hosts. Remarks from Jewish and Christian leaders, special guests, students, Holocaust survivors, local officials & more. 

    3:45PM -- Pdaya plays us out to Am Yisrael Chai!
