Join the local buzz of the Stanley Street Feast featuring local world-class food producers, stallholders and live music from The Bad Dad Orchestra, Pete Cornelius Band, Hump & The Red Kellys. Indulge in our signature Degustation Dinner with Massimo Mele with FREE shuttle busses running from Smithton and Stanley. Feed your curiosity with intimate Meet the Producer events at Tall Timbers Smithton and Marley's Stanley. Get creative with our Mushroom Coil and Kitchen Scraps workshops by The Forest Folk. Or treat your taste buds with our whisky tasting experience curated by local whisky legend Tim Duckett at the Angel's Share in Stanley.

    This intimate foodie experience is your chance to meet & eat with some of the talented humans behind NW Tassie’s world-class produce. The setting is relaxed and informal, where chef-prepared offerings are paired with presentations from the farmers, fishers and artisans behind the ingredients.

This intimate experience is held at historic Highfield House, with a menu featuring the absolute finest from pastures literally next door, pristine waters over the hill and farms just around the corner. With Massimo in the kitchen, the best of the region will taste better than ever.

    Always wanted to grow mushrooms at home? Join us in this hands on workshop where we’ll be making Wine Cap mushroom coils for the garden. You’ll take home your mushroom coil to enjoy year after year of delicious, versatile mushrooms. Session 1: 10:00am-11:00am Session 2: 11:30am-12:30pm

    Kitchen Scrap Workshop - Stanley Town Hall, Saturday 16th May 2026

    Learn how to get creative with your kitchen scraps! We’ll discuss ways to reuse and repurpose vegetable scraps, carve avocado pit buttons, dye fabric and plenty more. You’ll take home a little hamper of handmade products.

    Whisky Tasting - Meet your Maker at The Angel's Share, Stanley, Saturday 16th May 2026

    Join us at Forage Festival’s Whisky Tasting Experience for an unforgettable afternoon with renowned whisky legend Tim Duckett, hosted at the iconic The Angel’s Share in Stanley. Discover exceptional drams, hear stories from decades in the whisky world, and raise a glass in one of Tasmania’s most atmospheric venues. It’s bold flavours, great company, and a true celebration of the spirit.

    The perfect way to start your Sunday. Quality Makers and Producers, delicious treats, a smattering of music and of course… coffee! This is a special edition of the Harvest Market just for the Forage Festival. Come down, listen to some live music from Jarrod Minton-Connell, and stock up on supplies to take home. This event is free and no ticket is required.
