Event description
In this one-day programme, students in years 11-13 will learn to live mix local band Slow Rage, using a Behringer X32 digital mixing console.
Designed for beginner students with an interest in the theatre, concert, or live event industries.
Taught by our talented Studio Supervisor, Ciara Bernstein. Ciara is a multi-talented musician, producer and audio engineer who has made a significant impact on Aotearoa's music scene. She is the proud co-owner and operator of The Vault, an all-ages venue located here in Auckland. The Vault has become a multi-dimensional community hub for local artists and musicians, providing a platform for both established and emerging talent to showcase and develop their work. As a musician, Ciara has lent her talents to several bands including Half/Time, Skull Patrol, Deb5000 and Blame Thrower. Her recordings include projects like Slumbug, Repairs and Knifed. Ciara is also a huge part of Girls Rock Aotearoa's To the Front, a music programme for women, transgender, intersex, takatāpui and gender-diverse youth.
