Star Labyrinth Solstice Celebration

The Winter Solstice is a time to affirm the light in the darkness.   It is the moment that we are reassured that the light will be increasing again and another year is born.  

The patterns of nature help us understand the underlying truths of life.  We can see how things grow and also fall apart.  We also see that the new is always building on what came before, good and bad, and that we need to chose moment by moment to walk the Path of Light.  

Using glow in the dark stars we will walk a spiral labyrinth that feels like you are walking through a field of stars when the lights go off. This path represents a meander path that is the path of your soul as you move through time and space in this moment now.  See how you move and how you feel as you move.  This experience speaks to you where you are in this moment.  It shows you the way you must go through.  It always leads you to your center and then takes you back into the outer life and after you have reconnected to the center you bring some of it out with you and that helps yourself and the world.  

We will walk this labyrinth and then share and offer our commitments for our journey, Light our inner light with gratitude and communion and share the goodness with each other.  I hope you can make it. 

We will also sing some songs of the season.  Singing is a great way to generate light and call in into the earth.

If you haven't been here before you might want to come early as it is dark at night and parking is not so obvious.  When you turn into the driveway go past the first house down the hill and bear to your right at the fork to take you to the location of the Star Labyrinth.  This private drive can stack in a few cars and if you can turn around before parking.  There is also room on the side of the house.  You can park along the drive at any point another car can get past you, and you can go into the camping area where there are a few parking spaces and a loop to turn around but you will need flashlights and have to walk back to the house.  Its not far and you will be able to see the lights.  If you want to come and visit during the day call me at 540 752 5540.   Call if you have any other questions as well.  I hope to see you here and wishing you blessings and love for this holy season.
