After a successful career in Australia, appearing on ABC TV's Roy and HG show as a member of the Nissan Cedrics, touring as part of John Farnham's band and pursuing her own dreams as a solo artist, Dannielle emigrated to the US where she now splits her time between Nashville and LA as an in demand touring, recording, and session singer.
Currently visiting Australia, we grabbed the opportunity to have her perform at the Starfish Club in October.
In the USA Danielle mainly performs with the Songbirds, a vocal trio singing arrangements of 1930's jazz alongside their own material in that style, as well as touring and performing with Jackson Browne.
She is currently working on a writing project with the great US pianist and Hammond organ player Larry Goldings, who was last in Australia playing with James Taylor.
For this special Starfish show, Danni has curated a playlist of songs from her earlier career, some material from the new Larry Goldings project, and some songs she has always loved.
The band will consist of Bill Risby on keys, Oliver Thorpe guitar, Hamish Stuart drums and Jonathan Zwartz double bass. There may even be a guest artist appearance!
One show only, Tix $50, doors 6pm with food available then, music from 7pm.
The Starfish kitchen will be open for Wendy's Thai chicken curry and vegetable curry.
