Simon Rudston Brown is the Australian singer/songwriter Star you haven’t seen yet.

After years as a touring guitarist for notable artists such as Missy Higgins, Lisa Mitchell, Gin Wigmore and

Natalie Imbruglia, Simon relocated to Los Angeles to focus on a career in songwriting.

Successful performances at SXSW (Austin, Texas) and showcases in LA and NY, led to a record deal with the

prestigious Verve Label (Universal Music) and his band, FALLS, released their debut album in 2015. Years of

touring the US followed, a single in 2019 and a new album slated for release in 2024.

Simon has had the pleasure of opening for acts such as The Lumineers, Passenger, Of Monsters and Men,

John Butler, Ron Sexsmith, Ben Lee, and performing at festivals like Bonnaroo, Firefly and Austin City Limits.

His songs have featured in numerous television shows and advertisements as well as placing 1st in the

Unsigned Only Songwriting Competition in 2019 (Americana category) and 3rd place in the ISC (International

    Songwriting competition) AAA category 2019.

The Starfish Club performance will debut a set of Simon’s new solo material, written over the last few years

exploring his Americana and Country music influences and brought to life by an exceptional band - featuring

Ollie Thorpe, Andrew Bruce, Jonathan Zwartz and Hamish Stuart.
