Meanjin-based noir minimalists GHOSTWOODS and NOIR ET BLANC team up for a double-bill, launching new music at It's Still A Secret.
GHOSTWOODS new ep STARS is built around the band's recent cover of Kellie Lloyd's We Are Made Of Stars plus 2 new studio recordings created with producer/engineer Jamie Trevaskis at his Tapeland studio in Mount Nebo, and 2 epic live tracks recorded earlier this year at The Zoo. Led by musician/composer James Lees, Ghostwoods will perform in full six-piece mode with guest vocalist Mia Goodwin.
NOIR ET BLANC's sophomore album ROUGE pushes the limit of motif variation and repetition, developed around themes commonly associated with the colour red, such as romance, anger, anatomy, boldness, rarity in nature, strength and beauty. Noir Et Blanc is led by composer/producer Amber Ramsay who will be joined by guests Josh MacGregor (Spirit Lights) and Ellena Ramsay (fhae) for this performance.
