Start solids feeling calm, confident and clear on what actually matters.

If your baby is getting close to solids, there’s a good chance you’ve already gone down the rabbit hole.

Purees or baby-led?
Rice cereal or skip it?
How do you offer iron-rich foods?
When do allergens come in?
What’s normal gagging and what’s a choking risk?
And how much of this do you really need to worry about?

You read one thing, hear another in a mums’ group, then see a reel that says the opposite.

It’s a lot.

This live online workshop will give you a clear, evidence-based way to start solids, without the panic, the rigid rules or the overwhelm.

In one hour, I’ll walk you through what to do in those first weeks, including:

What foods to start with and beyond - including meal ideas
How to include iron from the beginning
Purees, finger foods and finding an approach that works for you
How to introduce common allergens safely
Gagging, choking and what you actually need to know
Textures, meal frequency, water, cups, equipment, salt and the common questions that come up early on
Reading labels
Minimising fussy and picky eating into the toddler years

You’ll leave knowing what to offer, how to offer it, and what you can stop stressing about.

I’m Cushla, a qualified nutritionist and mum of three. My youngest is 7 months, so I’m right back in the starting solids stage myself. I’ve been through it three times as a mum, and I’ve studied the evidence behind it too.

This is the workshop I wish I’d had with my first baby.

The session runs live on Zoom, so you can join from home, baby on your lap, camera off if needed. It’s a relaxed, informal morning session, and babies are very welcome to be there with you. My own little girl will be joining me too.

There’ll also be time for Q&A at the end, so you can ask about your baby and your questions.

Your ticket includes:

The 1-hour live online workshop
Live Q&A
My 50-page Starting Solids Confidently guide, emailed after the session, valued at $25
Access to the workshop replay for 7 days after the event, Q&A not included

$39 per household

This workshop is for you if:

Your baby is around 4 to 8 months, or you want to feel prepared before you begin
You want practical, evidence-based guidance without the conflicting advice
You want to feel confident when your baby reaches the high chair

Can’t make it live?

You’ll still receive the workshop replay to watch within 7 days. The live session is the best option if you’d like to ask questions specific to your baby.
